Winter Wonderland Book Tag|Blogmas Day 16

Hiya Friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I was stuck at work yesterday, but Sundays tend to sometimes be slow, and I don’t mind working them since they are considered the start of my work week. I love doing book tags if you can’t already tell, but I have been enjoying all the Christmasy themed ones I have come across. I stumbled upon this book tag from Allie at The Perks of Being a Book Freak. Check out her post for this book tag and I hope you enjoy this one.

Jayme ❤

One: What book is so happy and so sweet that it just warms your heart?

I feel so cheesy saying this, or better writing this, but Pride and Prejudice is a book that makes me so happy. I read it every year and the film with Kiera Knightly is one of my favorite movies. I just can’t get enough of the story and the characters

Two: What’s your favorite book with a white cover?

I don’t owe many books with white covers, but Shades of Magic series by V.E. Schwab has a beautiful cover that I absolutely adore. I read the book while on the drive back from Yellowstone National Park. I bought the second book once I got home, but have not read it yet. What is it about buying a new book and keeping it safe on my shelf for months?

Three: You’re sitting in a nice, comfortable chair with a cup of hot chocolate. What monster book are you reading?

Monster book like monster monsters? Because if that is the case then it would be the graphic novel Monstress. If a monster book refers to a tome then it would be War and Peace. I attempted to read it earlier this year and set it down because I was having a hard time keeping up with the group I was reading it with. One of my goals for next year is to give the book another try

Four: Its snowing outside and you decide you want to have a snowball fight. What fictional character do you want to have this snowball fight with

Definitely Morozko the Winter King from The Bear and the Nightingale, but only if he was on my team because we would have endless amount of snowballs.

Five: Sadly, your campfire is dying. What last few chapters of a book would you throw in the fire to revive it and keep yourself warm?

Ugh the horror! But I would throw in Red, White & Royal Blue into the fire to keep me warm. I was very much an unpopular opinion for this book. I thought it was so slow and I just could not figure out what all the hype was about.

Six: What book do you love so much that you would buy another copy of it to give to someone as a Christmas gift (or any gift really) to inspire them to start reading?

I would give Dark Matter by Blake Crouch to get someone to start reading. It’s actually the book a friend of mine gave me to read when I was trying to get back into reading and it was the perfect read to get me started.

Seven: Who do you tag?

Amy from Tale At A Time

Mary from Libby Reads

Eva at Eva vs The World
