Hi Friends! Hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday. I am a bit bummed that I missed one day of blogmas (yesterday’s) and it’s because I did not have anytime to work on that post, but I’m not going to get upset with myself and continue doing my best to keep these posts going.
I thought today would be a good day to bring you another tag, which I came across on Ash’s For the Love of Books blog and thought it would be fun to do.
Happy Reading,
Jayme ❤

You have 20,000 books on your TBR. How in the world do you decide what to read next?
I would put all titles of my books in a jar and have my boyfriend pick from the jar and that would be my next read.
You’re halfway through a book and you’re just not loving it. Do you quit or are you committed?
I go back and forth with DNFing books. I actually am half way with a book right now that is taking me forever to finish. Literally almost two weeks, I just don’t want to pick it up. I push through books even if I am not enjoying them if I am buddy reading or will be having a discussion with my bookclub with it, but if I chose the book and am not enjoying it, then I will DNF.
The end of the year is coming and you’re so close, but so far away on your Goodreads reading challenge. Do you try to catch up and how?
That is just too much pressure to put on myself. I would read what I want, but would not try and force myself to finish however many books I have to reach my goal. The holidays are stressful enough.
The covers of a series you love do. not. match. How do you cope?
This definitely bugs me and I do have covers from series that don’t match and I tend to separate my series and definitely have every intention of rectifying that by getting the covers I want. It’s a slow process.
Every one and their mother loves a book you really don’t like. Who do you bond with over shared feelings?
This is bound to happen, not everyone is going to like the same book and I share my feelings with my bookclub, which provides me with an outlet to rant about the book
You’re reading a book and you are about to start crying in public. How do you deal?
This happened while I was walking my dog the other day. I was listening to an audiobook and just put my hoodie over my head and walked quickly back to my home with my eyes on the ground, but I’m sure other dog walkers were just staring at me wondering what was wrong.
A sequel of a book you loved just came out, but you’ve forgotten a lot from the prior novel. Will you re-read the book? Skip the sequel? Try to find a synopsis on Goodreads? Cry in frustration?!?!?!?
I would probably look up reviews from the book on YouTube/Goodreads/ bookstagram to get a summary of the previous novel before jumping into the next book in a series.
You do not want anyone. ANYONE. borrowing your books. How do you politely tell people nope when they ask?
I actually let people borrow my books, but will hunt them down if they have not given them back after a while.
There are so many new books coming out that you’re dying to read! How many do you actually buy?
I would probably only get my top two or three that I want to immediately read and then wait for my library to get them or use Scribd to read the others
After you’ve bought the new books you can’t wait to get to, how long do they sit on your shelf before you get to them?
Haha…uhhh…months! I bought a book this January and didn’t ready it till November. So it sits on my shelf for a while for sure.
